Merrindale Gelbvieh - B & J Kaddatz

Merrindale Gelbvieh is a family-owned cattle stud based at Cinnabar, Queensland. Brian and Jasmin Kaddatz continue a family involvement with Gelbvieh cattle that began in 1989, including helping establish the breed in tropical Australia and developing some of the country’s first Gelbvieh and Bos Indicus crosses.

The stud breeds Gelbvieh and Gelbvieh-influenced cattle suited to Australian conditions. Its breeding program focuses on adaptability, quiet temperament, maternal ability, strong growth and carcase performance, producing practical cattle for commercial and seedstock operations.
